What is Alexander Breathwork?

  • Created by your host, Corey Alexander, we combine intense breathing patterns with music that drastically alters human physiology within minutes of starting. These methods have been studied by science and practiced by elite athletes and performers worldwide to improve your emotional state, heal depression/anxiety, gain clarity of your mind, and enhance cognitive performance. This experience will change your life.

  • Corey will push you past your comfort zone during this two-hour experience to silence the noise in your mind and gain insight into what might be holding you back and where you need to improve to live up to your full potential.


Meet Corey,

Founder

Corey Alexander is a former U.S. Navy Corpsman with the Fleet Marine Force. Corey spent years specializing in emergency and combat medicine working in trauma centers in Los Angeles and near battlefields in Iraq. After suffering a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury, he realized breathwork and lifestyle choices held the power to heal his physical, emotional, and mental injuries more effectively than traditional society tells us to treat them.

Corey Alexander now brings the methods he learned during his recovery to those all over the United States to help others improve their life, mental health, and the world one breath at a time.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Many types of breathwork originating from the eastern world have found their way to western culture. You might have even tried pranayamas, box breathing, Wim Hof breathwork, and other forms of holotropic breathing.

  • Alexander breathwork is a mixture of some of these practices that have been around for centuries to heal inner wounds and bring the mind and body back into alignment. As humans, we are incredibly capable of healing ourselves and adapting to the world. However, in today’s society, we are encouraged at an alarming rate to reach for a pill or seek out the advice of doctors on how to be the best version of ourselves.

  • We have everything we need to heal our body, mind, and spirit at our fingertips, including our breath, sunlight, heat/cold exposure, water, a healthy diet, and exercise. All of the answers we seek in this world are inside us, yet large parts of society try to erode trust in our judgment.

THE PROCESS

  1. We start the event with deep rhythmic breaths to increase blood oxygen levels and clear the mind.

  2. For the remainder of the event while laying down and eyes covered I lead you through a series of deep breathing rhythms in combination with breath holds to induce periods of controlled hypoxia.

  3. The controlled sessions of hypoxia mixed with deep breathing rhythms will be maintained for more than an hour, allowing you to reach a deep state of your subconscious mind that would otherwise take years of therapy to access.

  4. During the event, I will guide you to deeper parts of your subconscious mind and through memories of your childhood, current life, moments of grief and loss, belief systems, and much more to face yourself and dissolve what is no longer serving you.

  5. We will discuss and integrate the group’s experience at the end of the event and work on an action plan for you moving forward.
